So you have looked around and have decided you want to be a part of Austin Tennis Club. Don't worry, we're all relatively sane and are all out just to have fun and play as much tennis as possible.
First things first. Sign up for the Yahoo! Groups Newsletter. That's the most important part of all of this. We send out information on our upcoming events through that group. Friday night's require an RSVP beforehand, and we send out the RSVP request on the Monday before. If you want to play Friday's, you need to sign up online at ATC Events page. You don't have to be a member of ATC to play, but signing up for the Yahoo group is highly recommended.
Don't worry about spam coming from us. We send out the RSVP request on Mondays and maybe the occasional other reminder and stuff. Other than those emails, we try to keep the amount of mail we send to a minimum. We'll send out info on social events, upcoming tennis events, and other misc stuff, but nothing crazy.
From there, it's pretty easy. Membership is optional, but does get you the discounted rate on Fridays. Feel free to come out and join us Fridays at South Austin Tennis Center (6:30 - 8:30pm).
