VOLUNTEER NEEDS FOR THE HEART OF TEXAS (HOT) CLASSIC

Below is a list of specific volunteer needs for this year’s tournament. If you would like to volunteer, please email hot5vol@austintennisclub.com and our Volunteer Coordinator will be touch with you.

Player Bag Stuffing – March 6, 2007 at 6pm

• We need 15 people to help stuff the player bags.

Draw Party – Friday, March 9, 2007 from 7pm – 10pm
The draw party will be held at Rain on 4th, Friday, March 9th. We need volunteers to help with registration and setup.

• 2 volunteers from 7:00PM – 8:00PM
  2 volunteers from 8:00PM – 9:00PM
  2 volunteers from 9:00PM – 10:00PM

Banquet – Wyndham Garden Hotel, Sunday, March 11, 2007
The banquet will be at the host hotel on Sunday, March 11th. We will need volunteers for the following:

• 4 volunteers from 5:00PM – 7:00PM
  These volunteers will help with setting up the banquets silent auction.
• 4 volunteers from 7:00PM – 8:00PM
  These volunteer will help with check-in and sell raffle tickets
• 4 volunteers from 8:00PM – 10:00PM
  These volunteers will help sell raffle tickets (not during the dinner), help with the auction as it closes, and with auction checkout.

Tennis Centers - UT Intramural Courts, South Austin Tennis Center (SATC), Saturday, March 10 – Monday, March 12, 2007

• 3 shifts for Saturday, March 10th at UT and SATC at each site as follows:
  We need 2 volunteers for each shift for each location (UT & SATC) to work at the tournament desk and help set-up take down each day.
  7:30 AM - 12:00 PM
  12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• 3 shifts for Sunday, March 11th at UT and SATC at each site as follows:
  We need 2 volunteers for each shift for each location (UT & SATC) to work at the tournament desk and help set-up and take down each day.
  7:30 AM - 11:00 AM
  11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
• We believe we will have enough volunteers at SATC on Monday, but we do encourage you to come out and watch the semis and finals of all division play.
