We are very fortunate to have many members who volunteer, and our own Roger and Patsy Mills have been recognized as the volunteers of the year by Capital Area Tennis Association (CATA). Congratulation!

Our Eric Castilleja became the B doubles finalist at Citrus Classic in Florida and qualified for World Championships. Way to go! We are so proud of you!

2011 was filled with dramas. A retina was torn, and a flying racquet barely missed a player. A year like this should end with vicious rumors and laughter at ATC Holiday Party! Please feel free to dress up or down, however you like it!

It is a BYOB event (even beer and wine!), so if you enjoy adult beverages, please bring them with you. Soft drinks and mixers can be purchased at the restaurant, and ATC will provide setups.

We’ll once again collect unwrapped toys for a toy drive and play the ever-so-popular White elephant (gift exchange) game during the evening. If you choose to participate in the game, please bring a gift of around $15.00 in value.

We’ll also give out awards to outstanding members and announce next year’s board members at the dinner.

We look forward to seeing you and spending fun time together.

ATC is very lucky to have many outstanding members who bring inspirations on and off the court, and once a year, we recognize them at the year-end banquet.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Nominations are open to members only, and the deadline is Sunday, November 20, 2011.

1. Member of the year: member who has been a great ambassador for the club by continually going above and beyond to support the club and its mission. This award is NOT based on skill level or tennis accomplishments.
2. Player of the year: member who has shown outstanding on court achievements this year.
3. Newcomer of the year: new member who spiced things up in 2011!
4. Most Improved: member who showed the most on court improvement in 2011.

Once all the nominations are collected, we’ll send you an instruction on how to vote next week.

It's mid-October already, and it's time for us to plan for the next year's board. Our planning begins with collecting nominations from members, and we'll contact the nominees to see if they are willing to accept the position. If there is more than 1 nominee in the same position, we'll have an election sometime next month.

We have 7 positions to fill, and they are listed below along with a name of person who is currently holding the position. If you want to learn about a position, please feel free to talk to the board member.
