Austin will be joining Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio to compete in the team singles and doubles competition held over two days on July 8 - 9 in San Antonio.

To compete in Texas Cup for Austin, you must be a registered member of the club. The team is chosen from the the ATC singles ladder with 24 spots going to players in ranked order on the singles ladder that are available that weekend. Two spots are held as the Texas Cup captain's choice. Doubles pairs are at the discretion of the Texas Cup captain with consideration given to Texas Cup team members that routinely play together.

To ensure you make the Austin Texas Cup team you must be on the ladder and be a registered member of the club. Joining the ladder no longer requires a challenge match. Please contact the Competitive Director, Alan Gnani, to get your name on the ladder. HOWEVER, to be eligible for Texas Cup, you must be on the ladder and have played and won a challenge match to demonstrate your placement on the ladder and the Texas Cup team. If you would like to make sure you're higher on the ladder and increase your chances of making the Texas Cup team, you should challenge members on the ladder. All ladder challenge matches must be complete by no later than June 18. The Texas Cup captain will be using ladder standings at that time to select the Austin Texas Cup team. Since this is an "away" year, ATC would like to set our team roster as early as possible to allow for travel planning.
